But 1st, a few tips I’ve found to make sure that your meal prep chicken breasts stay moist and delicious.
Store them in a sauce or vinaigrette: Storing and reheating your Chicken Breast in a sauce helps lock in extra moisture, same for Chicken stored in a salad vinaigrette dressing.
Bake them Whole, Then Slice: Baking your chicken breast whole, rather then cubed or pre-sliced helps retain more moisture, Make sure to let them rest for 5-10 mins before slicing/cubing them up, as this prevents juice’s from running out.
Cut Against The Grain: Cutting with the grain results in stringy chewy chicken, this goes for slicing raw as well.
Don’t Over Cook: Chicken Breasts can be tricky, a Minute or two extra in the oven can result in Dry Dry Dry Chicken. Cook to an international temperature of 165 F (75 C).. Once you get a system down for cooking your chicken breast you don’t have to worry about this. To cook a whole chicken breast, I recommend 425F for 18 minutes (smaller 5oz chicken breast) to 28 minutes (Larger Chickens Breast 12oz).
